Disco Playlist

Why there is a playlist at all

Because the sport is named after a tempo, and this is where that claim gets tested. Finding your pace is most of the skill in Disco Golf, and a beat is the easiest way to hold one.

120 Beats per minute
Roughly where disco lives
Roughly a brisk walk

That overlap is not something we discovered. It is just true of the music, and it is where the name came from. Whether it is actually the optimal pace for scoring is a claim we cannot make yet, because the record book is only days old. Ask us again in a thousand rounds.

In the meantime: here are nine tracks that sit in the range. Put them on, walk the course at the pace they suggest, and see what the number says.

The Front Nine

Tempos are approximate and vary by pressing, remix and remaster. Treat the number as a feel, not a spec.

Every link above opens a search on your own service, so you can add any track straight into a playlist of your own. Official Disco Golf playlists on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music are on the way.

One honest caveat

Headphones on a busy course is a way to miss somebody shouting your name, or shouting fore. Keep one ear open, or run it out loud and quiet. The courtesy section covers the rest.
