The Sport
Disco Golf is disc golf played against two numbers at once — your score and your time, reported together as one record. Eight discs or fewer. The bag stays on. The clock runs. Everything else is disc golf, played by the PDGA rules you already know.
It started the way most honest sports do: somebody was already playing it before it had a name. Years of fast rounds — half exercise, half golf, all clock — until it became obvious that playing fast wasn't practice for the real game. It was a real game, with its own tension: every second saved tempts a stroke, every careful shot spends time. The format was written down in August 2026, the founding round was played at Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville, Utah, and the record book opened the same week.
Every course on earth holds two titles — a Current Record anyone can beat and a Founding Record nobody can, because first is first, forever. The book runs on the honor system with receipts: no proof, no record.
