A browser tab loses your rounds. Safari deletes a tab's data after seven days unused. The installed app is exempt, so this is the difference between keeping a season and losing it.
On iPhone a tab cannot hand its rounds over. The installed app gets separate storage, so anything played here would be stranded.
It works with no signal. Most courses have none, and a browser tab will not load out there at all.
The whole screen. No browser bars eating the space you are trying to tap.
